Ashourina Hanna

Director of Operations

Human development has been Ashourina Sada’s mission for as long as she can remember. An Assyrian born in Iraq, she and her family fled the country in the early 90s and were refugees in the Turkish mountains for a year. When they immigrated to the U.S. in 1992, Ashourina had missed four years of school and spoke no English. Not one to let challenges stop her, she took advantage of the available opportunities and earned a B.A. and M.A. in Psychology. She then went on to become a marriage and family therapist, and spent the next 10 years serving the homeless and underprivileged.

Since 2014, Ashourina’s goal has been to make the real estate industry more client-centric. Since real estate had provided her family with security, stability, and belonging when they had nothing, she wants to offer the same service to others. In her words, “We believe that everyone deserves a home, and everyone deserves the best in life.”

Ashourina’s compassion, drive, and hard work have helped Real Estate 38 earn many professional accolades, including being ranked No. 1 in San Jose. As the group’s backbone and support system, she is responsible for daily operations, expertly handles every detail, and ensures that Real Estate 38 continues to deliver the best customer service in the industry. Whether creating and implementing premium off- and online marketing strategies or being a steady guide for clients, Ashourina finds joy in helping people however she can.

To this end, Ashourina partners with organizations such as Sacred Heart Community Center and Habitat for Humanity, spearheads donation drives, and is passionate about serving the homeless — especially through Community Seva. She is also a devoted wife and mother of two, and enjoys writing, reading, music, dancing, and spending time with her family.
